About The Band Perry

The Band Perry is a rising country music band founded in 2005. The band is made up of siblings Kimberly, Reid, and Neil. The eldest is Kimberly, who sings the lead vocals and plays rhythm guitar and piano. She was born in 1983. The middle child Reid, who was born in 1988 is the peace keeper of the band, and he plays the bass and sings the backup vocals. The baby of the band is Neil (1990), he plays the mandolin, accordion, and drums, and also sings background vocals. All three siblings help to write a great majority of the songs they sing and have been performing since a young age. In her teen years, Kimberly originally toured as a solo artist with her younger brothers opening for her band. The siblings finally came together to form The Band Perry in 2005.

Why Tim McGraw picked TBP for his tour "...there's something about that family harmony you can't beat. There's such beautiful harmony and there's such tenderness in their voices and such realism there. And then the song "If I Die Young" is just one of the things that gets engrained in your DNA. It's just one of those kind of songs. Plus my daughters love 'em. So that's a big reason". source
